Works in Progress (Chanell Ketchmore, Self Taught, and Danyo Slade)

It's been a minute since I've updated this blog, and it's not because I fell out of the game or quit, it's because I've basically been back in the lab working hard on upcoming projects.  First I'd like to say Chanell Ketchmore and I are putting together an 8 track EP that will be available for free download sometime very soon.  Right now the project is untitled, but it will feature our song "Calling All Troops".  You can listen to it on my official YouTube page

A fellow beat maker Self Taught and I are working on an instrumental project, so far the project will feature 12 tracks (6 produced by myself and the other 6 produced by Self Taught).   Sonic Backdropz is the working title for the project.  While we work and tweek this project, Self Taught and I have been shooting video footage documenting the making of the project.  We are also putting together a separate blog to promote this project as well.  As of right now there is no release date set for this project.

Also, recently I've been speaking back and forth with an artist based in Kansas by the name of Danyo Slade.  He is very interested in getting me on-board as an in-house producer for his Above Ground Records, I'll give you more details on that as the story unfolds.

American Scholar Review on ReviewSTACKS.Com

This review is a little old (just a few months), but I'm just now reading about it... I did a google search on some of the artists I've made beats for in the past and in one of the searches this caught my eye. G. (of R.A.H.M. Nation)'s American Scholar was reviewed on ReviewSTACKS.Com. The reviewer said a lot of great things about the production on the CD (I did a good little number of tracks on the project) and the reviewer also mentions one of the songs I laced the beat for ("Things To Remember") as one of the album's highlights! You can read all about it at
